| DSC MORTGAGE Manufactured Homes On Piers And Skirting Piers and skirting are a relatively common method of setting a Manufactured home. This involves drilling numerous holes in the ground where the home is to be placed and filling them with concrete. These are also called footers. The home is then supported by concrete blocks, which are placed between the footers and the steel undercarriage of the home. HUD approves this type of set-up. The space between the ground and the bottom of the home is then finished with “skirting” typically vinyl, or stone which is placed around the perimeter of the home. DSC Mortgage has programs to accommodate this type of set-up. APPLY ONLINE! |
